Perma - lining

Repairing wastewater pipes is a time-consuming, expensive, and disruptive activity. Typically, it requires extensive excavation, traffic control, and new paving or concrete repair. Also, there is the potential for damaging other underground utilities located in the vicinity of the repair. Now, there is a simpler and easier solution called perma lining.

Perma lining is a sewer lateral rehabilitation method developed for relining small diameter pipes in diameter range from 2" to 8". Any pipe material can be relined.
Perma lining uses a PVC-coated fiberglass reinforced polyester needled felt tube filled with liquid resin. The impregnated liner tube is inverted using compressed air. The resin impregnated liner tube is inverted (turned inside out) and pressed tightly against the host pipe until cured. The end result is a PVC continuous liner with no joints and seamless from end to end.

This systems reduces total costs, because it:

  • Reduces the potential for damages to other underground utilities associated with dig and replace methods.
  • Repairs damaged lateral service pipelines and restores structural capacity without extensive excavation or replacement.
  • Eliminates street excavation, paving and concrete repair costs, and traffic control.
  • It also reduces the time until the repair can be complete.
